Very Nice.

You could have gotten a 5 just for it being the only Dinosaur Planet remix I've ever heard, as I'm one fo the five people or so on the planet who actually enjoyed it. But then you had to go and make the song awesome, to boot.

I've been perusing your music after finding the Midna one. .-. Very impressed so far. <3

VGSongbird responds:

ooh pursue away ^_^
I'm glad you like my style.

Yeah, I really liked this song in the game. And when no one else was doing it, I was like "FINE THEN! My turn, I suppose."
I think out of all the songs I've posted on this portal, this one is my crown jewel....so far...

Wow.

How does this have more downloads than votes? Srsly. Have you considered submitting this to Overclocked Remix? I think it would stand a decent chance of making it onto the site. o3o

That said, very well put together, and the audio clips were a nice touch, as was the variety of songs used. This has definitely made my favorites list. : )

VGSongbird responds:

Wow, you really think I should?
I'd probably get my butt handed back to me on a silver platter by the next "ParagonX9"

^_^

Lost Myself

I left this running in the back and totally forgot it was even there. It wasn't intrusive, it felt very pleasant... I love it. Nice ambiance, good work music. I was never a huge Metroid fan, never mind Prime, but the alien atmosphere is definitely here. Very nicely done. The only complaint I have is that the main synth seems a bit loud compared to everything else, but I tend to zone in on the hig-pitched sounds, so it may jsut be my way of hearing things.

Aresdev responds:

Well, for as long as this project was shelved, I expected a little better. Maybe I should rework it a little more.

Three Acts and Still Nothing?!

This one deserves a lot more attention than it's getting. As I stated on act 3, the whole set is good, but this one is exceptional! I've bee using it as my background music while I'm on the computer for about a week now, skipping about the portal but always coming back here. It's an amazing song and continues to be one of my favorites in your library and for that matter the entire Portal.

Not bad.

The use of the sage's instruments in the opening bit really does help the overall feel a lot, but it kind of falls apart a bit when the actual Zelda theme kicks in. For one, I don't understand why you went to piano when the violin was working so well, as while it would work well accompanying it, by itself the piano jsut doesn't hold up like I wish it did. Otherwise, this is pretty fantastic all around.

Well... It's Space Cadet

A fairly straightforward rendition of the Space Cadet theme. It's not bad, but could use something more to help it stand out. As it stands, it's pretty much the original song reduced to three instruments. Perhaps a take on this focusing on the game's spacey theme would earn you some extra points, ne?

Very catchy.

Dude this one needs more love.

I've been using your music for the past three days since my laptop has broken and I saw your Great Cave Offensive mix. You've made my time on the family PC tolerable to say the least and always seem to do an amazing job with your works, and this one is no exception. My favorite is Eternal Egg Act 2, but when that wears thin I look about at your other stuff, and right now this is definitely pulling a close second.

It's upbeat and true to the original, incredibly catchy, and has a good sense of adventure to it. Keep up the good work! :D

I Like This One, Too

I'm a sucker for the upbeat and bouncy, what can I say? I kind of like HodiHum better, but this one's not bad, either. :)

RougeChocobo responds:

thanx. yah i thought that the echoy chorus was a bit over done and it sounded cluttered and stupid lol

I Like It

I've listened to most of your audio stuff now, and I must say I've found it all quite enjoyable, though this song is my favorite. I may well use it for something, actually. Here's to hoping you get the sort of downloads and scores this stuff deserves! :)

RougeChocobo responds:

yay you actually likemy stuff XD comeby often then cause yah i make things lol

Yayz!

Dragon Roost Island. Home of the Rito Tribe. Nobody recognises the song because... I don't know why. D: It's one of my favorite tracks in the game, and it enshrouds my favorite area and characters in the thing, too. Medli is cool. 'Nuff said.

You do nothing but fuel my desires to make a fan game again. D: Mainly the techno Dragon Roost thing. But no need for details about that. The song is bouncy and a remix of my favorite track in the game save for maybe that weird sand boss from Makar's Temple. But I'm the weirdo who imported the soundtrack.

Love the song! D: LOVE.
